There are times when some really crazy and inspiring and notable larp project comes up - this is one of them. The Monitor Celestra is an upcoming Battlestar Galactica larp. In most larping areas of the world that would mean that the game is being played indoors, in an environment which is simulating key areas of the game - starship in this case. Which probably means you'd end up in some basement, or possibly a nuclear shelter if you're lucky. Swedes? They just go and rent a warship. Yes, that's right. A warship. A cold war era destroyer Småland anchored in Gothenburg is where the game is going to be played. Now, that's what I'd call awesome - they also did it in '99 when they rented a submarine for another SF larp.
