Schedule for the rest of November

The schedule for all Croatian larps is now known for the rest of the November - two small events will be held in Zagreb. This Sunday (18th) we're going to have some battles on Krvomeđe - 2 PM. If you're nearby, come and have some practice.

The week after, on Saturday (24th) there will be an evening indoor larp organized by Ognjeni Mač (and in-character faction, worshippers of Morana)... The style is usually called a feast here, but I think a wake would be the more appropriate term for this one, as it's organized as an in-character wake for a character that died recently...

Next Thursday I'm holding a presentation of Terra Nova: Zimograd in SRP, on Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb in classroom A-306, at 19:15 hours. Be there if you can (upon entering the main building on the faculty, take the stairwell on the left to the top floor, then proceed using the hallway to your right until you reach A-306.

And if you're there today, same time, there will be a presentation of Stjepan's Iron Age: FRP...

The 15 rules of larp

The following 15 rules (warning: strong language) were written some years ago in Great Britain, and have been pretty much generally accepted on the British larp scene. Especially popular is rule 7 - widely known by its number and commonly considered to be the most imortant rule of all (and I agree). Even the biggest British larp forum has taken Rule7 as its name. One of the most expected new projects in the English-speaking larp world has been the recently announced webseries, called simply "LARPs: The Series". It's not hard to understand why - the "Episode 0" they released has shown a pretty good portrayal of several fantasy larping elements. Interview with Michael A Ventrella, Alliance larp

I've covered non-Croatian stuff on this blog before. Drachenfest, Mythodea, news from the regional larp scene (Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia), Nordic larp theories, Petra's interview with Claus Raasted, etc. Today we're having an interview with Michael A Ventrella, who's one of the people who basically invented American larp (which is not SCA or a battlegame group).
